About Radical Rex (europe)
Radical Rex came out for the Super Nintendo in 1994, developed by Beam Software. It was part of that wave of early 90s platformers where every character, even a skateboarding dinosaur, got their own game. You control Rex, a cool green dinosaur on a skateboard, trying to rescue his dinosaur friends who have been captured. The main goal is to get through each level, find the exit, and save them.
You move through the game screen by screen, using Rex's skateboard to roll over enemies and his fire breath to attack from a distance. The levels are filled with pits to jump over, platforms to navigate, and items to collect. The pacing is pretty fast, and some sections can be tricky with precise jumps required. It feels like a straightforward, energetic platformer from that era.
