About Push-over (beta)
Push-Over came out for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1992, developed by Red Rat Software. It was one of those puzzle games that quietly appeared on the platform, offering a different kind of challenge compared to the action and platforming titles that were common at the time.
You control an ant named Agent 080, moving him screen by screen through a series of garden and household environments. The main goal is to topple every domino on the level by figuring out the correct sequence to push them. Your primary mechanics involve walking into dominoes to start a chain reaction and using items like springs and teleporters to reach isolated rows. The game requires careful planning, as a single wrong push can leave dominoes standing and force a restart. It feels like solving a spatial logic puzzle where every move has to be deliberate and considered.
