Princess Minerva came out for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1995, developed and published by Vic Tokai. You control the warrior princess Minerva, traveling across an overworld map and delving into dungeons screen by screen. Your main goal is to gather the scattered pieces of the Triforce-like Crest of Power to stop an evil emperor. You use a sword for close combat and a bow for hitting enemies from a distance, switching between them as the situation demands. The game can be unforgiving; enemies respawn when you leave and re-enter a screen, and the dungeons are large and maze-like, requiring careful navigation.
