Prehistorik Man is one of those weirdly charming SNES platformers where you play as a caveman trying to reclaim his stolen food stash. It's got that classic cartoony vibe—think clubs, dinosaurs, and a whole lot of running around smacking things. The controls are simple, but some of those jumps can be surprisingly tricky when you're dodging pterodactyls.
What I love is how goofy it feels—you'll be chucking bones at enemies one minute, then riding a giant boar the next. The levels are packed with little secrets too, like hidden caves with extra meat (because, you know, priorities). It's not the deepest game out there, but it's got personality. Just don't expect the food logic to make sense—since when do pineapples heal cavemen?
If you're into old-school platformers with a silly streak, this one's a solid time-waster.
