About Popoitto Hebereke (japan)
Popoitto Hebereke came out in 1995 for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, developed and published by Sunsoft. It was part of that later wave of SNES games, a time when developers were still finding new ways to use the hardware. This title was only released in Japan and Europe, so it remained a bit more obscure for players elsewhere.
You control one of the Hebereke characters, like O-Chan or the penguin, in a competitive puzzle game. The main objective is to clear your own screen of colored viruses by throwing capsules, similar to Dr. Mario. Two key mechanics are the ability to hold a capsule in reserve for later use and the strategic choice between clearing your board quickly or sending more garbage blocks to your opponent's side.
