Poko Nyan! - Henpokorin Adventure (japan) Game

Poko Nyan! is one of those weird, charming SNES platformers that never made it outside Japan—which is a shame, because it’s got this weirdly addictive energy. You play as a cat (or maybe a cat-shaped blob?) bouncing around colorful, slightly surreal levels, collecting fish and dodging enemies that look like they escaped from a kid’s doodle notebook.
The controls take a second to click—your jumps feel floaty at first, but once you get the rhythm, chaining bounces off enemies and platforms feels oddly satisfying. Some stages throw in these weird gimmicks, like suddenly shrinking or riding giant bubbles, and the music’s got that classic SNES chirpiness. Not the deepest game, but it’s got personality for days.
If you’re into obscure 16-bit platformers with a side of WTF, this one’s worth digging up.
