Pokemon Secret Sapphire (beta) Game

Pokémon Secret Sapphire (beta) is one of those fan-made GBA hacks that feels like stumbling into a weird alternate version of Hoenn. The starters are different—no Treecko or Torchic here—and some of the routes have been shuffled around. At first I thought it was just a reskin, but there are actually new areas tucked in, like this creepy abandoned lab near Rustboro that wasn’t in the original.
Battles play out like classic Ruby/Sapphire, but wild encounters are way more unpredictable. Found a level 12 Ralts in Petalburg Woods, which never happens in the official games. The beta’s a little rough—some dialogue is placeholder text, and I got stuck in a wall once—but if you’ve played Emerald to death, it’s a fun excuse to wander through familiar places with fresh surprises.
