Pokemon Res V1 Game

Pokémon RES V1 is one of those fan-made GBA hacks that actually feels polished—like someone took FireRed and gave it a fresh coat of paint. The sprites are cleaner, the battles feel snappier, and there’s just enough tweaks to make it feel new without losing that classic Pokémon vibe.
You start off in a familiar Kanto setup, but pretty quick you notice little changes—different wild encounters, some moves rebalanced, and a few surprises in the early routes. I got a Ralts before the first gym, which never happens in the originals. The difficulty’s bumped up just enough to keep you on your toes, but not so much that it feels unfair.
If you’ve played FireRed to death but still want that GBA Pokémon fix, this one’s a solid pick. It’s the kind of hack that makes you wish Nintendo would take notes.
