Pokémon Physic is one of those weird little GBA ROM hacks that flips the script—psychic-types get all the love here. You start off with a Ralts instead of the usual starters, and suddenly every battle feels like a mind game. Wild Abras teleporting away mid-fight, trainers spamming Hypnosis... it’s frustrating in the best way.

The map’s mostly the same as Ruby/Sapphire, but with tweaks—like, why is the first gym leader packing a Kadabra? You’ll spend way too much time grinding your own psychic squad just to keep up. And yeah, some moves are broken (looking at you, Future Sight), but that’s half the charm. If you’ve played the originals to death, this’ll mess with your muscle memory in a fun way.

Just don’t expect polish—it’s a ROM hack, after all. But for a psychic-type nerd? Totally worth the jank.
