Pokemon Naranja (v2) Game

Pokémon Naranja (v2) is one of those fan-made GBA hacks that actually feels like a proper Pokémon game—just with way more tropical vibes. You start on this sunny island with starter choices that aren’t your usual trio, which threw me off at first (where’s my fire lizard?). But the new regional variants and custom sprites? Super clean.
First thing you’ll notice: the overworld’s got this bright, almost cartoony look, like someone cranked up the saturation. Routes twist through jungles and beaches instead of the usual grassy plains, and yeah, there are way more water-types lurking around. Not gonna lie, the surfing sections can drag a bit, but the new Pokémon designs make up for it—some of these fakemon look like they could’ve been official.
It’s got that classic Pokémon grind, but with enough tweaks to keep it interesting. You’ll probably spend the first hour debating whether to pick the grass monkey or the electric seagull.
