Pokemon Lightning Yellow (beta V0.12) Game

Pokémon Lightning Yellow is basically a souped-up version of FireRed/LeafGreen with some wild twists. You start off in Pallet Town like usual, but pretty quick you notice things are... different. Some Pokémon have new sprites, movesets are tweaked, and there are a few surprise encounters that definitely weren't in the original. The beta's still rough around the edges—expect some weird glitches and unfinished areas—but if you've played FireRed to death, this at least keeps it interesting.
First thing I did was pick Charmander (obviously), but then immediately got wrecked by a trainer with a water-type that had no business being that strong. Had to actually grind for once. Feels like the difficulty's been cranked up just enough to make you pay attention.
Also, Pikachu follows you like in Yellow version, which is cute until it gets stuck on scenery every five steps.
