Pokemon Legends Game

Pokémon Legends on GBA is one of those fan-made gems that feels like stumbling onto a lost official game. You start in a familiar-but-new region with classic sprites, but the Pokémon roster and story take some wild left turns—like finding a Dark-type starter or running into legendaries way earlier than you'd expect.
The overworld has that cozy GBA vibe, but battles actually feel faster than the originals, which is nice when you're grinding. And yeah, there's grinding—some of the gym leaders hit hard if you don't prep. Pro tip: grab that Mareep early. Ampharos carries.
It's got rough edges (the translation's a little janky in spots), but if you've burned through the mainline games and want something fresh without losing that pixel-art charm, this one's surprisingly solid. Just don't expect it to hold your hand.
