Pokémon: Hypno's Lullaby is one of those weird, creepy ROM hacks that sticks with you—like, it starts off normal enough, but then things get unsettling fast. You're still catching Pokémon and battling trainers, but the story takes a dark turn with Hypno pulling some seriously messed-up hypnosis stuff. The sprites get distorted, the music gets eerie, and suddenly you're questioning whether this is still a kids' game.

It's not just shock value, though—whoever made this actually put effort into the atmosphere. The overworld changes in subtle ways as you progress, and some of the new dialogue is legitimately unsettling. If you're into horror or just want a Pokémon game that actually makes you a little uneasy, this one's worth a playthrough. Just maybe don't start it right before bed.
