Pokemon Double Battle was a Japan only Game Boy Advance release from 2004, developed by Nintendo and published by The Pokemon Company. It arrived in the later part of the GBA's life, a period filled with experimental spin offs that tried new things with the established Pokemon formula. You control a team of four Pokemon in two-on-two battles from the very start, with the main objective being to defeat a series of trainers in a fixed order.
