Pokémon Black Version 2 picks up where the first one left off, but with a fresh twist—Unova’s changed a bit since your last visit. You start in a new town, and right away, there’s this weird tension between Team Plasma and the locals. The gyms? Some familiar, some totally redone. And the Pokémon selection? Way better early on—you can snag a Riolu before the first gym if you know where to look.
The battles feel snappier, and the animated sprites give the whole thing more life than the first Black/White. Plus, the post-game’s packed with stuff to do, like the Pokémon World Tournament where you can fight past gym leaders and champions. It’s one of those sequels that actually improves on the original without losing what made it fun.
If you skipped this one back in the day, it’s still worth digging up for a playthrough.
