I remember picking up The Pirates of Dark Water for the Super Nintendo back in 1994. It was published by Sunsoft, and it felt like a lot of other action platformers from that time, trying to capture the spirit of an animated series. You control Ren, the main character, and your goal is to gather the lost Thirteen Treasures of Rule to defeat the evil substance called Dark Water.
