Ever played that weird little SNES Pinocchio game? It’s basically a side-scroller where you jump through toy shops, forests, and creepy whale guts (yep, Monstro’s in here too). The controls are a little stiff—typical for early 90s platformers—but there’s something charming about whacking enemies with Pinocchio’s tiny wooden fists.
Graphics are bright and cartoony, like someone ripped pages from a storybook and pixelated them. The music’s forgettable, but you’ll hum it anyway after an hour. Fair warning: some jumps are brutal, and the underwater sections drag on. Still, if you’re into obscure Disney adaptations or just love janky retro platformers, it’s a weirdly fun time. Just don’t expect a masterpiece.
