Okay, so this is one of those weird Disney SNES platformers based on the Pinocchio movie—you control the little wooden boy (and sometimes Jiminy Cricket) through these side-scrolling levels that kinda follow the film’s story. The art’s actually pretty nice for the time, with bright colors and decent sprite work.
Gameplay’s a mix of jumping on stuff, avoiding enemies, and occasionally making choices that affect how the story plays out. Like, yeah, you can lie to the fox and cat or tell the truth, and it actually changes what happens next. Some of the platforming feels a little stiff, but hey, it’s an early 90s Disney game—what did you expect?
Honestly, it’s not the best SNES platformer out there, but if you’re into weird licensed games or just love Pinocchio, it’s got some charm. The music’s decent too, with a few familiar tunes from the movie.
