Okay, so Pink Panther in Pink Goes to Hollywood is one of those SNES platformers that’s way more charming than it has any right to be. You’re basically this smooth, lanky cat sneaking through Hollywood backlots, dodging props, and occasionally karate-chopping weirdly aggressive studio hands. The animation’s got that classic Pink Panther swagger—he even adjusts his tie mid-jump sometimes.
The levels are packed with dumb little gags, like sets collapsing behind you or getting chased by a rolling film reel. And yeah, the music’s weirdly catchy in that early ‘90s way—you’ll hum it for days. Some of the platforming’s janky (why does he slide so much?), but it’s got this goofy energy that makes it hard to put down. If you’ve ever wanted to see the Panther dodge an angry director’s megaphone attack, this is your game.
It’s not the deepest platformer, but it’s got personality for days. Just don’t blame me when you start walking around your house doing that slinky Pink Panther walk afterward.
