About Panza Kick Boxing
Panza Kick Boxing is a martial arts fighting game released in 1990 for the MS-DOS platform. Developed by Futura and published by Loriciels, the game presents a side-view perspective and is centered on the sport of Thai kickboxing. It features a roster of moves reportedly endorsed by professional fighter André Panza.
Players control a custom kickboxer with the objective of progressing through a series of matches to become the champion. The game structure includes a dedicated training gym where players can spend time improving their fighter's various attributes before entering the ring. A key gameplay system involves customizing the fighter's specific attacks from a selection of over thirty-five moves. Once prepared, players engage in one-on-one fights against a series of opponents, utilizing their trained stats and chosen techniques in direct combat.
Progression is tied to success in these matches, with victory allowing the player to advance to more challenging foes. The game incorporates mechanics for managing a fighter's development between bouts, balancing training time with competitive fights. The MS-DOS version includes audio samples and music from the original Amiga release of the title.
