About Pac-in-time (europe)
Pac-in-Time came out for the Super Nintendo in 1995, a Namco release that put their famous character into a different kind of game. It was part of that era on the SNES where a lot of classic arcade figures were getting platforming adventures of their own.
You control Pac-Man through a series of side-scrolling levels, moving screen by screen. Your main goal is to find a key in each stage to unlock the exit door. Along the way, you use a sword to defeat enemies and a bow for hitting switches or targets from a distance. The game has a deliberate pace; you explore dungeons and outdoor areas, often needing to figure out the order to clear rooms. It can be quite challenging, with precise jumps and enemy patterns to learn. The experience feels like a methodical puzzle platformer where you are constantly mapping the route in your head.
