About Pac-in-time (europe) (beta)
Pac-in-Time was a Super Nintendo Entertainment System release from the mid-1990s, developed by Kalisto Entertainment and published by Namco. It arrived during a period when many classic arcade characters were being reimagined for longer, more exploratory console games, placing Pac-Man in a new type of adventure.
You control Pac-Man through a series of side-scrolling levels, moving screen by screen. Your main goal is to find a key in each stage to unlock the exit. Along the way, you collect power pellets to temporarily turn the tables on ghosts, allowing you to defeat them, and you also use a sword for direct combat. The game requires careful timing to avoid enemies and navigate environmental hazards, and the pacing can be challenging as you figure out the order of operations in each area. It feels like a deliberate, sometimes tricky puzzle box where every screen is a small test of your planning and reflexes.
