Remember that weird little Pac-Man spin-off on the Game Boy Color? This one throws you into a mix of classic maze-chomping and a falling block puzzle mode that feels like Tetris with ghosts. At first I thought it was just a lazy port, but the puzzle mode actually gets kinda intense—you’re scrambling to clear rows before the screen fills up, and those pink ghosts don’t make it any easier.

The maze mode’s exactly what you’d expect, but the controls feel a tiny bit stiff compared to the arcade original. Still, it’s weirdly satisfying to have both games in one cart when you’re stuck on a long bus ride. The colors pop nicely for a GBC title, even if the sound effects make your ears bleed after a while.

Not gonna lie, I mostly play it for the puzzle mode when I’m bored of the usual Pac-Man routine.
