About Operation Logic Bomb
Operation Logic Bomb came out for the Super Nintendo in 1993, developed and published by Jaleco. It was part of that wave of sci-fi action games on the system, focusing on a clean, top-down view and a straightforward rescue mission premise.
You control a lone cyborg soldier sent into a research facility overrun by interdimensional creatures. Your job is to fight through room after room, clearing out monsters and activating computer terminals to restore power and stabilize the dimensional fabric. The core loop involves careful exploration, shooting enemies with your upgradable arm cannon, and hitting switches to open new paths. Dimensional rifts warp the layout of certain areas, blocking your progress until you find and activate the correct terminal. The pacing is methodical; you often backtrack through cleared sections to access a newly opened door. It feels like a tense, systematic sweep of a contaminated lab, where every new screen could hold a swarm of enemies or a vital key to progression.
