Olivia's Mystery (japan) Game

Olivia's Mystery is one of those weird little SNES puzzle games that slipped under the radar back in '94. You play as this girl Olivia who's basically trapped in a surreal, dreamlike mansion filled with bizarre rooms—some look normal at first glance, then suddenly the walls start shifting or portraits come alive. The puzzles are a mix of sliding blocks, pattern matching, and some straight-up "what am I even looking at?" moments.
What makes it stick with me is the atmosphere—the soundtrack's got these eerie chimes and distant whispers that make even simple puzzles feel unsettling. And the further you go, the more the house starts breaking its own rules. One minute you're pushing crates, the next you're solving riddles whispered by a floating mask. It's janky in places (thanks, Altron), but that almost adds to the charm.
If you dig obscure 90s puzzle games with a side of existential dread, this one's a trip.
