Nosferatu on SNES is one of those weird, moody side-scrollers that feels like a mix of Castlevania and Prince of Persia—if both were soaked in gothic horror. You play as Kyle, some poor guy whose girlfriend gets snatched by the vampire lord, and now you’re stuck punching and kicking your way through his creepy castle. The controls take a second to get used to—your jumps feel heavy, and enemies hit hard—but once it clicks, there’s something satisfying about the weight of it all.
What really stands out is the atmosphere. The backgrounds are all shadowy towers and flickering torches, and the music’s this eerie synth thing that nails the "you shouldn’t be here" vibe. Just don’t expect it to hold your hand—some of those platforming sections are brutal, and the bosses? Yeah, good luck figuring them out on the first try. Still, if you’re into obscure 16-bit horror action, it’s got a weird charm. Just maybe keep a walkthrough handy.
