About Nightmare Busters (world) (unl)
Nightmare Busters is a Super Nintendo game that was developed by Arcade Zone and published by Super Fighter Team. It was released in 2013, long after the SNES era had ended, making it a rare new cartridge for the system.
You control Flynn or Toby, two brothers who fight through dreams with a rapid fire pea shooter. Your goal is to defeat the nightmare king by clearing each stage of its bizarre enemies. The game uses a screen by screen progression, forcing you to clear all foes before moving forward. You collect power ups that change your shot type, like a spread gun or laser, and you can find temporary screen clearing bombs. The pacing is fast and the difficulty is high, demanding quick reflexes and smart movement. Playing it feels like a direct, challenging test of your shooting skills.
