Nichibutsu Collection 1 (japan) Game

Nichibutsu Collection 1 is one of those weird little SNES compilations that slipped under the radar—probably because it never left Japan. It's a grab bag of arcade-style games from Nichibutsu, mostly early '80s stuff with that janky-but-charming retro feel. You get a mix of shooters and action games, some of which feel like they'd be right at home in an actual arcade cabinet.
First thing you'll notice? The controls take some getting used to—these weren't originally made for a SNES pad, and it shows. But once you adjust, there's something oddly satisfying about the simplicity. One minute you're dodging bullets in a spaceship, the next you're smacking enemies with a sword in some medieval-looking brawler. It's not polished, but it's got personality.
If you're into obscure retro compilations, this one's a neat time capsule. Just don't expect anything groundbreaking.
