Newman-haas Indycar Racing Featuring Nigel Mansell (europe) Game
📅 1994 ✍️ Gremlin Interactive

Newman-Haas IndyCar Racing is one of those early '90s SNES racers that somehow nails the speed and chaos of IndyCar better than you'd expect. The moment you hit the track, the sense of speed is wild—corners come at you fast, and that low-res pavement blur actually makes it feel like you're hauling. Nigel Mansell's on the cover, but honestly, I spent more time tweaking my car setup than caring about the roster.
It's got that classic split-screen multiplayer too, which means you can shove your friend into the wall at 200mph and pretend it was "just racing." The tracks are simple but punishing—miss a braking point by half a second, and you're eating tire barrier. Not the deepest sim out there, but it's got that arcade-meets-simulation vibe that makes it weirdly addictive. You'll either love it or rage-quit after spinning out for the tenth time.
Also, the engine noise sounds like a vacuum cleaner fighting a chainsaw, and I mean that in the best way possible.
