Natsuki Crisis Battle is one of those weird little SNES fighters that slipped under the radar—probably because it never left Japan. You've got your standard 1v1 fights, but with a roster that feels like someone threw darts at a board: schoolgirls, ninjas, even a guy in a business suit. The animations are kinda stiff, but there's something charming about how over-the-top the special moves are.

First match I played, I picked the baseball player because, well, why not? Turns out he's got this ridiculous super where he whips out an entire team to gang up on the opponent. It's janky as hell, but in that way old fighting games sometimes are—you either bounce off it immediately or end up weirdly addicted to its quirks. The music's got that classic SNES synth sound too, all squeaky guitars and punchy drums.

Definitely not Street Fighter, but if you're into digging up obscure 90s fighting games, this one's got personality.
