NBA Jam on SNES is pure arcade chaos—no fouls, no rules, just ridiculous dunks and three-pointers from halfway across the court. You pick two players (Barkley and Jordan were my go-to), and suddenly you're shoving defenders out of the way before leaping 10 feet in the air for a slam. The announcer loses his mind yelling "BOOMSHAKALAKA!" every time you pull off something insane.
It’s fast, over-the-top, and doesn’t take itself seriously—missing a shot? Just elbow the guy next to you and steal the ball back. The pixelated players have this weird charm, and the courts feel like they’re straight out of a ‘90s arcade. If you ever played this as a kid, the soundtrack alone will hit you with nostalgia.
Still one of the best couch multiplayer games, even if the AI occasionally cheats like crazy.
