NBA Jam - Tournament Edition on SNES is pure arcade chaos—the kind where you’ll accidentally elbow your friend on the couch after a ridiculous dunk. It’s 2-on-2 basketball with zero rules: shove defenders, leap from the free-throw line, and watch the ball literally catch fire if you sink three shots in a row. The announcer’s "BOOMSHAKALAKA!" still lives in my head rent-free.
I always went for the Bulls—Jordan and Pippen dunking from half-court never gets old—but the roster’s stacked with ‘90s legends. The controls are simple (run, shoot, shove), but good luck stopping someone once they’re "on fire." Just don’t expect realism; this is basketball turned up to 11, where the backboard shatters and players defy gravity. Still one of the best couch multiplayer games ever made.
