About Nba Hang Time (europe)
NBA Hang Time came out for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1996, developed and published by Midway. It was part of that wave of arcade-style basketball games that felt right at home on the SNES, offering a faster, more exaggerated take on the sport than the simulation-focused titles of the time.
You control a team of two players, running up and down the court to score baskets and prevent your opponent from doing the same. The main goal is to win each game to advance through the tournament. Its signature mechanics include the ability to perform ridiculous, gravity-defying dunks by holding the shoot button, and the on-fire mode, which gives a player unlimited turbo and perfect shooting for a short time after making three consecutive baskets. The game moves at a breakneck pace, and the computer opponents can be brutally unforgiving, especially on higher difficulty settings.
