About Multi Play Volleyball (japan)
Multi Play Volleyball was released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1994 by the developer Pack-In-Video. It arrived during a period when the SNES library was diversifying, offering straightforward sports titles alongside its more famous role playing and action games. This one was a simple, no frills take on the sport.
You control a team of six players on the court, moving them around to receive the ball, set it up, and spike it over the net. The main objective is to outscore the opposing team by winning rallies, with matches playing out in sets. A couple of its mechanics stand out: you can charge up a powerful spike for a more forceful attack, and you have some control over your team's formation to adjust your defensive coverage.
