About Multi Play Volleyball
Multi Play Volleyball came out in 1994 for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, developed by Pack-In-Video. It was part of a wave of sports titles on the SNES that tried to capture the feel of team play, though it never reached the same level of recognition as some of the bigger franchises from that era.
You control a team of six players on the court, switching between them to set up spikes and blocks. The main goal is to win matches by outscoring the opponent, and the game includes mechanics for powerful jump serves and quick set plays. Matches move at a brisk pace, and the difficulty can be unforgiving if your timing is off. It feels like a straightforward, sometimes scrappy, game of volleyball where a single mistimed button press can cost you the point.
