Mr. Nutz on SNES is one of those weirdly charming platformers where you play as a squirrel trying to stop a yeti from turning the world into an ice cube. The controls feel solid—you’ve got your standard jumps and tail whips, but there’s something satisfying about bouncing on enemies’ heads like they’re trampolines. The levels get surprisingly creative too, from underwater sections to flying on dandelion seeds (because why not?).
It’s not the hardest game out there, but some of those later stages will test your patience, especially when Yeti’s goons start popping up everywhere. The art style’s got that early ‘90s cartoon vibe, bright and just a little bit goofy. If you’re into retro platformers with personality, this one’s a solid pick. Just watch out for the ice levels—they’re sneakier than they look.
