About Mr. Do!
Mr. Do! On SNES came out in 1996 for the Super Nintendo, a time when the system was well established. It was published by Imagineer, and it was a conversion of the older arcade game. This version tried to bring that simpler style of play to a home console that was more known for its detailed, complex adventures.
You control a clown named Mr. Do, and your goal is to clear each stage of monsters. You can dig tunnels through the soft dirt to move around and trap enemies. Your main weapon is a magical ball you can throw to defeat them directly. Alternatively, you can trick monsters into chasing you under a giant apple you've loosened; it will fall and crush them. The game moves quickly, and the screen gets crowded fast, making it a constant scramble. It feels like a frantic race to outsmart your enemies before they corner you.
