Man, this game takes me back. You start off picking your Ranger—I always went with the Red Ranger, obviously—and then it’s straight into smashing Putties with satisfyingly chunky punches and kicks. The sprites are bright and colorful, just like the show, and the music? Pure 90s cheese in the best way.
It’s a classic side-scroller where you fight through waves of enemies, then morph into your Ranger form for the boss fights. The controls are simple, but timing your special moves just right feels so good. And yeah, it’s a little janky by today’s standards, but that’s part of the charm. If you grew up watching the show, you’ll grin when you hear that "Go go Power Rangers!" theme kick in.
Just don’t expect a deep combat system—this is pure button-mashing nostalgia. Still, there’s something weirdly satisfying about kicking a Tenga warrior into the screen. If you’ve got a soft spot for the era of neon spandex and rubber monster suits, this one’s worth a play.
