Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Fighting Edition is one of those SNES fighters that feels like it was made specifically for fans of the show. You pick your favorite Ranger (or Rita’s monsters if you’re feeling evil) and throw down in some surprisingly decent 16-bit brawls. The Zords are the real stars here—nothing beats morphing mid-fight and stomping around as the Megazord.
It’s not Street Fighter, but the controls are solid, and the sprite work nails that cheesy '90s Power Rangers vibe. Some of the monster designs are weirdly fun to fight against, especially Goldar—he’s way more annoying here than on TV. If you grew up with the show, this one’s a nostalgia trip worth a few rounds.
