Okay, so Mickey's Ultimate Challenge on SNES is this weird little puzzle-adventure hybrid where Mickey basically gets sucked into a board game (because why not?). You move him around this colorful, slightly trippy overworld, triggering mini-games that feel like someone dumped Disney-themed brain teasers into a blender.
The puzzles are hit or miss—some are simple matching games, others make you rearrange tiles while a very impatient Goofy taps his foot at you. The art’s got that early ‘90s Disney charm, though, all bright colors and exaggerated expressions. And yeah, the music’s catchy in that way where you’ll hum it for days without meaning to.
It’s not exactly hardcore gaming, but there’s something oddly satisfying about solving a sliding block puzzle just to watch Mickey do a little victory dance. Perfect for when you want something light between more intense games.
