Mickey's Playtown Adventure - A Day Of Discovery! (proto) Game
📅 1994 ✍️ Hi Tech Expressions

Mickey's Playtown Adventure is one of those weird, unfinished SNES prototypes that never got an official release—which honestly makes it kinda fascinating. You play as Mickey Mouse wandering around this colorful little town, clicking on random objects to trigger simple animations and mini-games. It's clearly aimed at little kids, but there's something charming about how janky and experimental it feels.
The controls are clunky (typical for early edutainment games), and some of the sound effects sound like they were recorded in a tin can. But if you're into obscure Disney stuff or just curious about lost SNES oddities, it's a neat little time capsule. I spent way too long clicking on everything just to see what weird interactions the devs left in.
Fair warning: don't expect a polished experience—this is basically a museum piece with Mickey Mouse slapped on it.
