Mickey to Donald - Magical Adventure 3 is one of those weird, Japan-only SNES platformers that never made it overseas. You play as Mickey and Donald (duh) hopping through colorful, slightly janky levels—think classic Disney vibes but with that unmistakable 90s Japanese game feel. The controls take a minute to get used to, and Donald’s hitbox feels a little off, but once you adjust, it’s got that nostalgic charm.
First level throws you right into a candy-colored forest with bouncing mushrooms and those annoying enemies that pop out of nowhere. Mickey’s jump is floaty, and Donald… well, he waddles. There’s a weird mix of cutesy and frustrating here, but if you grew up on SNES platformers, it’s a fun little time capsule. The music’s catchy, at least.
Honestly, it’s not the best Disney game out there, but if you’re into obscure retro stuff, it’s worth a look. Just don’t expect Disney’s Magical Quest levels of polish.
