Mickey Mania - The Timeless Adventures Of Mickey Mouse (japan) Game
📅 1994 ✍️ Traveller's Tales

Mickey Mania on SNES is this weirdly charming side-scroller where you jump through Mickey’s entire cartoon history—black-and-white Steamboat Willie era, that creepy "Mad Doctor" short, even the Prince and the Pauper stuff. The animation’s smooth as butter, and the levels actually change slightly if you die and retry (which you will, because some of those platforming bits are brutal).
Japan got a slightly different version with extra voice clips and some graphical tweaks, but either way, it’s got that old-school Disney magic—if Disney magic occasionally involved dodging flying cutlery in a kitchen or outrunning a rolling boulder like some rodent Indiana Jones. The music’s catchy too, especially the Steamboat Willie level.
Honestly, it holds up better than most licensed games from that era. Just don’t expect it to go easy on you.
