Mickey Mania - The Timeless Adventures Of Mickey Mouse (europe) Game
📅 1994 ✍️ Traveller's Tales

Mickey Mania on SNES is this weirdly charming side-scroller where you hop through Mickey’s cartoon history—black-and-white Steamboat Willie levels, that trippy "Sorcerer’s Apprentice" segment, even a kinda janky but fun Prince and the Pauper section. The animation’s smooth for a 16-bit game, though some jumps feel just slightly off—you’ll miss a ledge and grumble, but keep retrying anyway.
What’s cool is how each era changes the art style. One minute you’re dodging barrels in grainy 1920s mode, the next you’re tossing magic brooms in full color. Boss fights are creative (that clock tower demon still gives me stress), but the difficulty spikes hard by the later levels. Play it for the nostalgia, stick around for the weirdly satisfying challenge. Just don’t throw your controller at the Pete fight.
