Mega lo Mania is a real-time strategy game released in 1992 for the MS-DOS platform. It was developed by Sensible Software and published by Ubi Soft Entertainment Software. The game presents a top-down view of the battlefield and tasks players with leading one of four distinct armies to supremacy across a series of levels.

Players begin by selecting a commander, each representing a colored army, and are given control of a starting force. The primary objective is to be the last army standing on each map. Progression is structured across ten levels, with the first nine consisting of groups of three territories that can be tackled in any order. Gameplay involves managing a population of men, initially numbering one hundred per level, who can be assigned to various tasks. These include constructing headquarters and additional bases, researching increasingly advanced technologies, and manufacturing weapons and defenses such as archers, gunmen, and later, laser turrets. Players must also gather specific materials from mines to unlock higher-level equipment, with each new level allowing research to begin from a more advanced technological starting point.

Strategic elements include the ability to form temporary alliances with other armies to defeat a common foe before the alliance dissolves. Unarmed conscripts can eliminate enemy soldiers but cannot damage structures, while defensive fortifications generally hold an advantage over attacking forces of equivalent technological level. A key logistical consideration is the ability to preserve units between levels by freezing them, which becomes crucial for preparing for the final confrontation. The game encourages expansion and rapid fortification, as idle men will automatically begin building structures, though these start at a basic technological level and require subsequent upgrades.
