Mario Mushroom Tower Defense is one of those old-school Flash games that starts simple but sneaks up on you. At first, you're just plopping down basic towers along the path, watching Koopas and Goombas stroll by—no big deal. Then around map 3 or 4, the waves get brutal, and suddenly you're scrambling to upgrade fire flowers or reposition your boomerang bros.

What I like is how each tower actually feels different—ice flowers slow enemies, hammers do area damage, and the super-expensive star tower? Worth saving up for. The upgrade system forces some tough choices too—do you buff your existing towers or save for that one game-changer? Mess up, and you'll watch Bowser's minions waltz right past your defenses.

It's got that classic tower defense itch with just enough Mario flavor to stand out.
