Master Mario Bros. Game

Master Mario Bros. on SNES is one of those classic platformers that just feels right—tight controls, colorful levels, and that satisfying "boing" when you bounce on a Goomba. You start off in the usual Mushroom Kingdom setup, but there’s something about the way the SNES version handles that makes jumping on pipes and grabbing coins feel extra crisp.
First level’s straightforward—run right, stomp a few enemies, maybe grab a mushroom if you’re quick—but by world 2, you’re already dealing with tricky jumps and those annoying Hammer Bros. The underwater sections are still a pain, though. I always hold my breath like it helps.
It’s not the fanciest Mario game out there, but if you want that pure, no-frills platforming vibe, this one nails it.
