About Marvelous - Mouhitotsu No Takarajima (japan) (english Translation)
Marvelous: Mouhitotsu no Takarajima came out for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1996, developed by Nintendo. It arrived late in the SNES lifecycle, a time when developers were pushing the hardware with more ambitious adventure games. The game was directed by Eiji Aonuma, who would later become well known for his work on the Zelda series.
You control a boy named Sash on a quest to find a legendary treasure. The gameplay involves exploring an island screen by screen, fighting monsters with a sword, and solving environmental puzzles. A key mechanic is commanding a crew of pirates; you can order them to move objects, attack enemies, or hold positions to trigger switches.
