Marvelous - Another Treasure Island is one of those weird, wonderful SNES games that slipped under the radar back in the day. You start off shipwrecked on this bizarre island where everything feels just slightly off—like the villagers talk in riddles, and half the trees probably have secrets hidden behind them.

At first, it plays like a standard adventure game: you poke around, pick up items, and try not to get stuck immediately (good luck with that). But then the puzzles start getting weird in the best way. One minute you're trading a fish for a hat, the next you're using that hat to trick a guard into thinking you're someone else. It's got that classic "90s Japan weirdness" where nothing explains itself, but figuring it out feels so satisfying.
