Mario World Super Game

Mario World Super on SNES is one of those classics that just never gets old. You start off in the colorful, bouncy world of Dinosaur Land, and right away, the controls feel perfect—Mario’s got that weighty-but-responsive jump, and Yoshi’s there if you’re lucky enough to find him early. The levels are packed with secrets, like hidden exits and those sneaky Star Roads, and the music? Instantly nostalgic.
What I love is how it eases you in with the gentle slopes and goofy Goombas, then suddenly throws stuff like the ghost houses or those brutal special stages. And don’t even get me started on the cape feather—once you figure out how to fly with it, you’ll spend half your time gliding over entire levels just because you can. It’s the kind of game where you’ll replay levels just to see what you missed the first time.
Still holds up today, honestly. If you’ve got a SNES (or an emulator), this is basically required playing.
